Live Chat

Our live chat widgets provide an integration with third party messenger platforms. It is not a live chat application in and of itself.

This means that when a website visitor clicks on your chat widget, they will be redirected to the messenger platform integrated with the widget. All conversations between you and the website visitor take place through the third party messenger platform, not the widget itself.

Example:

  • You add a Facebook Messenger widget to your website.
  • Note: You will need a Facebook messenger account to do this
  • A website visitor clicks on the Facebook Messenger chat widget
  • The widget then launches the Facebook Messenger app
  • The website visitor messages you through the Facebook Messenger App
  • Note: If the website visitor does not have a Facebook account, they will not be able to contact you until they sign up
  • You receive a notification via Facebook Messenger, that somebody has initiated a conversation with you

All our Live Chat widgets are structured this way, giving you the flexibility to create a live chat experience relevant to the messaging platform that is best suited to your audience.

Don't know which platform is best? Try the All-In-One Live Chat widget, that allows anyone to connect with you via the most popular messenger platforms. You'll need to have an account for each platform, but you can learn more about that in the links below:
